Try the demo workspace

Ask, pin and build a board on Northwind Outdoor before connecting anything.

After you create a workspace, the setup screen offers Open the demo workspace. It is a made-up retailer — Northwind Outdoor — with orders, customers, marketing spend and headcount. Use it to learn Build and Board before anyone grants warehouse access.

Open the demo workspace

Open the demo to ask questions on made-up retail data. You can connect your warehouse later without losing the demo.
  • The demo warehouse is read-only Postgres with views only.
  • The local test model answers without a real provider key. In production the demo may include a limited demo key so you can ask a few questions.
  • Boards and pins you create in the demo stay in that workspace. They do not move to your production workspace.

When you are ready for real data, stay in your own workspace and follow Add an AI key and Connect a warehouse.
